The maut1 GmbH is based in the beautiful city of Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria. In 2020, maut1 GmbH was founded by Julian Schmelzer and Simon Baumgartner to offer our electronic toll collection devices for contactless toll processing in German-speaking countries. We have specialized in bringing the topic of contactless electronic toll processing closer to private customers. Therefore, in addition to our efficient toll box, we also offer an excellent customer service, which will always help you competently without waiting time
The founders of maut1.de
Julian Schmelzer is the managing director of maut1 GmbH and is passionate about helping you with the topic of tolls. Before founding maut1 GmbH, he worked in the toll industry for many years and built up a broad network of partners, suppliers, customers and ultimately friends. Thus Julian Schmelzer has good contacts to almost all toll operators throughout Europe. He would like to use this knowledge and network for you to simplify tolling in Europe.
Simon Baumgartner is the managing director and technical director of maut1 GmbH. He has also worked in the toll industry and is well versed in all technical aspects of toll processing.
